Public House: Casual Cocktails, Comfortable Food
Public House, a popular East Coast hangout in cities like Philadelphia and New York City, has opened its first West Coast location at Luxor Hotel and Casino. With an ultra-cool vibe and tasty upscale bar food, Public House Las Vegas is the place to be in Sin City for sporting events, lunch, dinner and late-night dining.

Located on the casino floor near the main entrance and check-in desk, the 7,000-square-foot venue offers American fare and an extensive beer selection. Public House accommodates up to 200 guests for seated dining along with standing room and barstools for 50 in the bar. Chic patriotic décor adorns the interior with red, white and blue accents throughout. Brick walls frame the venue, lending the space a classic, East Coast atmosphere.

“The Public House brand has established itself for having a fun, laidback atmosphere to enjoy cocktails and comfortable food,” says Gary Cardi, owner of Public House Las Vegas. “We were eager to bring that same experience to Las Vegas.”

The social scene provides a new hangout for sports fans looking for a spot to watch their favorite teams and guests looking for a place to enjoy great food and refreshing cocktails. In addition to TVs placed throughout the space, a wall of flat panels at the center bar provide optimal views of several games or can become one big screen for a major sporting event.

“The approachable, fun atmosphere of Public House provides our guests with a one-stop location where they will receive quality food and drink at affordable prices,” says Renee West, president and COO of Luxor and Excalibur.

The menu features an array of starters, such as a Hummus Plate and Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, plus guests looking for healthier options will find several salad selections, and sandwiches include the Turkey and Brie and Grilled Pesto Chicken Salad. For the main event, hearty entrées include Tavern-Style Meatloaf topped with pan gravy, Atlantic Salmon with a honey-bourbon glaze; French Quarter Jambalaya and Pan Seared Halibut with a tomato-basil ragout. Guests also may select from an array of side options and decadent desserts that include Public House’s signature Cookie Dough Smash and Brownie Sundae.

The bar and nightlife are as much of a part of the experience as the food at Public House Las Vegas. The extensive beer menu offers dozens of tap and bottled selections from around the globe. For wine enthusiasts, the restaurant offers fabulous selections from some of the finest wineries around, and Public House also features an array of handcrafted cocktails including the Sin City Sunrise and the Blood Orange Cosmopolitan.

Public House welcomes groups of all sizes and offers a variety of party packages and setup selections to meet your needs. The Public House event staff specializes in customizing its offerings for any group whether in the lounge or one of the semiprivate rooms that are perfect for intimate dinners with friends, special occasions and holidays, corporate meetings and staff parties.
