LUXURY CARRIER LV AIR SELECTS RUMOR BOUTIQUE HOTEL AS ITS HOME AWAY FROM HOME IN LAS VEGAS
For Immediate Release:
LV Air Crew to Enjoy the 150 Suites, Attentive Service,
Sophisticated Design and Contemporary Style Found at Rumor

LAS VEGAS: (Mar.8, 2011) – Launched less than a year ago, Rumor Boutique Resort in Las Vegas has already become the city’s hottest new property. With only 150 rooms (all suites), Rumor has delivered an entirely new experience to the Las Vegas scene. Having debuted in late summer of 2010, Rumor was an immediate success, and quickly garnered accolades from the press and the public alike. Evoking a Las Vegas meets Palm Springs attitude with a buzz-worthy Los Angeles feel, Rumor is infused with unconventional design that creates a cozy, boutique resort atmosphere.

LV Air, touching down in August 2011 with direct service from New York to Las Vegas, had little difficulty in choosing Rumor as a home-base for their crew and flight attendants. Having recently been voted the #2 Top Hotel in Las Vegas by British Airways, Rumor provides the crew of LV Air with the same unique and distinctive service and amenities that the new airline will be providing to their customers at 25,000 feet. “The style and attitude of Rumor fits our brand personality perfectly,” explains Sarah Johnston, vice president of marketing for LV Air. “Not having to wait in long lines, walk endlessly through a casino and be only minutes from the airport made this a great match. Our crew is flying all day long, and once they are on the ground we want them to have a great experience in Las Vegas. We have no doubt that staying at Rumor will make the layover seem more like a mini-vacation.”

“We set out to create a hotel experience which was unconventional and fun, yet definitely urban and sophisticated,” explains Michael Crandall, director of business affairs, The Siegel Group. “It sounds as though LV Air is looking to do the same, and we look forward to making their stay in Las Vegas a great one.”

LV Air is Las Vegas’ newest luxury air carrier. Flights will begin in 2011 with “non-stop” service from New York (JFK) to Las Vegas (LAS). Casinos shall have first opportunity to purchase seats on LV Air, followed by partner agencies and online customers. LV Air plans to carry 2 million passengers to Las Vegas by its second year of operation. More info can be seen at www.flylvairnow.com.
