Advantage Rent-A-Car operates a fleet of about 15,000 vehicles in more than 10 states, primarily in the Southwest. Besides serving business and leisure travelers, Advantage cultivates government accounts and vehicle replacement rental business. Investor group ARC Venture Holding (led by Rosedale Leasing) owns the company, which was founded by Kenneth and Helen Walker in 1963 with a fleet of five cars.

Maria Romano has owned and operated car rental businesses in Las Vegas since 1978 and is the President and majority owner of Advantage Rent-A-Car in Las Vegas. One of the only women-owned ventures in the city, Advantage offers customers impeccable service and an unmatched collection of vehicles.

Romano operates four Advantage-Rent-A-Car facilities located throughout the city. The newest Advantage facility is located in the $170 million consolidated rent-a-car center at McCarran International Airport. This sleek structure is located at 7135 Gilsespie Street and houses 11 car rental companies. The Advantage counter is situated across a bright, airy lobby from the center's front entrance. The firm also has another bank of mobile customer service desks on a lower-level parking garage.  Other Advantage Rent-A-Car locations can be found at the Hard Rock Hotel, Downtown and Paradise Blvd.
